I am a Chicago-based sound engineer completing a BFA degree in Film and Television at DePaul University. My major is Sound Engineering with a minor in Spanish. My primary interest is post-production audio, particularly dialogue cleanup and sound design, with an emphasis on shaping the emotional tone and narrative impact of a story. I am also comfortable contributing across all areas of audio production.
My experience spans both production and post-production. I have worked on set handling boom operation and front-end audio capture, as well as in studio environments managing post-production workflows. I also completed a quarter of study in Los Angeles at Las Palmas Studios, where I gained hands-on exposure to professional production environments and industry standards. In addition, I spent a quarter in Mérida, Mexico, further strengthening my communication skills and cultural awareness.
I interned with SpectreVision, an experience that strengthened my appreciation for bold storytelling and reinforced the importance of sound in creating atmosphere and tension. This work deepened my interest in the horror genre, where sound plays a critical role in suspense, pacing, and emotional impact.
I am a collaborative and detail-oriented sound engineer preparing to enter the industry, eager to contribute to projects of any scale while continuing to grow professionally.
